Default Acrobat Pro Hard Crashes my G5

Lately Acrobat Pro has been completely crashing my G5 on startup. (Machine freezes completely requiring a hard shut down and restart)
This is if I have InDesign or Photoshop open already.
If I start Acrobat Reader I dont crash.

I have run the Apple Hardware Test on the machine and it says there is nothing wrong with my motherboard, memory chips or video card.

This is driving me crazy as it reminds me of OS 8 or 9 days.

    Any ideas?

Sounds like a Mac OS bug. Apple claim that it is impossible for an
application to crash Mac OS X; if it happens, therefore, it must be a
problem for Apple to solve. Or so it seems to me.
