Default acrobat pro v.6 and MacPro

I am seriously wanting/needing to upgrade my Mac. But need to know what software will/will not run.

Does anyone have experience running Acrobat Pro v.6 on a MacPro?

    Thank you -

You'd want Acrobat 8 for native Intel support.

I do realize that. I am just wondering if Acrobat 6 would work reasonably in Rosetta - I'm a "light" user of Acrobat, adding watermarks and reducing file sizes. Occasionally I need to touch up text.

Any more thoughts please? I appreciate it.

Acrobat 6 does start and work for me on an Intel Mac. The key area
where there are problems is the PDF print driver; not sure if that
    does work.

    Connie,

I have Acrobat 6, 7, and 8 all installed on my Macbook Pro, not the
same as a MacPro, but I cannot really find much to blame. I have
created pdfs with the 6, 7, and 8 technology. The real problems start
when having all three on one machine. I have removed the print to pdf
capability from 6 and 7, since they can interfere with the 8 print
    dialog box.
