G5/OSX4/2.0ghz/dual/1gigRAM/Quarkpassport6/Acrobat Prof 7
Before I converted to TIGER this worked, but not now. Perhaps someone can tell me why???
Open a pdf in Acrbat Prof 7 (part of my CS2 Suite install).
Select & copy text in a note from the author editing memo.
Open a QuarkXpressPassport6 document.
Paste the text copied into QP6 doc.
System Beep.
No pasting allowed.
Select & copy text in QP6 doc.
Paste into QP6 doc. Successful.

Re: Acrobat Prof. 7 Clipboard broken in Quark 6?????
Nevermind. For some dad-burn reason it is working tonite. I upgraded to CS2 Suite over the weekend, so I am not using Acrobat Reader 7. Maybe Reader was the reason it would not paste the clipboard into QP6. I ran Disk Utility from the booted TIGER CD and repaired prefs and disk. Maybe that too. I don't know. Just glad it's working again. jr
