You'll have to extract the pages, then join the 6 pages back together, or you can print those 6 pages to the Adobe PDF printer, or whatever it's called in v5

If you want to save a Range of 35 pages say 1-35 or 16-50 or 10-45; its a piece of cake.

when you create the PDF even if you go through the adobe PDF Print Driver you can choose a range of pages to print (create PDF). Then AdobePDF will only create the pdf from that range.

Now if you need say page 1,10,12,25,32 and so on That is a horse of a different color. In That case create the PDF of the whole document. Open acrobat, the go to document menu and choose remove pages. go to desired page to edit out and then choose that page or a range of pages. once you have completed the desired removal save as a new name. That way if you make a mistake you can always use the old file to reinsert accidentally deleted page(s)

    Hey MarkATS,

Thanks I did that and it worked. My next question is in my 60 page document; I need page 17 and 30 in one document. I can save each when I go to print but is there a way to combine those two pages? So I would have page 17 and 30 in a new PDF. I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks a bunch,

In the thumbnail palette, command click the pages you want in the same doc and print to the PDF printer. Or, extract each page you want then use Document>Insert pages.

    MarkATS,

All command click does is select the page. Is that right? And what I was trying to say is that I don't have an opition to extract or insert pages under the documents tab. I see the tab but the choices are Next Page, Last Page, Go To Page and Go To Previous Page. That's it. Any other ideas??

    Thanks

That's right. You're selecting the pages you want to print to a new pdf file.

I see the tab but the choices are Next Page, Last Page, Go To Page and
    Go To Previous Page.

Oh, you only have Reader. None of those options I mentioned will be available.

No. Not with the free REader. You need the full version of Acrobat.

OS X has SOME capability built in to do what you want but I assume that you're still using an older OS.

Then you would just use the print function right out of Reader. Select your range of pages then, instead of printing, choose the save as PDF option.

A word of warning. This is fine if you're just making PDF's for viewing. If it needs to go to a print shop, you'll want to use Acrobat.

Like I said before, Command click all the pages you want in the Tumbnail palette, then choose file>Print. Be default, all only the pages you selected will print.
