Acrobat reader v 9.0 - font problem
I downloaded Acrobat Reader 9.0 yesterday, to test a file for a colleague. I already have Acrobat professional 8.12 installed. I use InDesign and manage my fonts with Suitcase. Since installing Acrobat Reader 9 some fonts appear to be missing, even though they are active in Suitcase. I suspect a font conflict with a font installed by Acrobat 9. Does anyone have a list of the fonts AR9 installs? Or a set of uninstall instructions for AR9?
Any help appreciated...

Re: Acrobat reader v 9.0 - font problem
Can you quantify 'fonts seem to be missing' - what does that actually
mean and how are you measuring this?

Re: Acrobat reader v 9.0 - font problem
Here's an example. I'm working on a publication (using InDesign CS2) which includes the font, Univers 67. Since installing Acrobat Reader 9, I've been getting a message telling me that this font is not available. Checks with Font Doctor do not detect a problem and the font appears to be activated in Suitcase Fusion. Although the rest of the font family appear in the font list in Indesign.
I wondered if Acrobat 9.0 had installed a new font which may have caused this problem.
I'm pretty sure that this has something to do with Acrobat Reader installation. I'll try calling Adobe this morning and see if they can guide me though an uninstall.

Re: Acrobat reader v 9.0 - font problem
In desperation, I removed the obvious Adobe Reader 9 related files. Also reinstalled all fonts, following Extensis Best Practices Guide to the letter. Now all fonts are behaving as they should.
Thanks for advice. Will make a note of rebuilding font cache, in case ever happens again.
