acrobat window closes immediately after initialization; ver 6 on XP
As soon as Acrobat ver 6 initializes (seen on startup flashscreen), the main Acrobat window opens, and then immediately closes.
Can anybody recommend a corrective action or a posting for a similar problem?
thank you

Re: acrobat window closes immediately after initialization; ver 6 on XP
Delete the Updater folder:
1. Click Start > Run and type "%appdata%" and click OK.
2. Open the Adobe\Acrobat\6.0\ folder
3. Right-click the Updater folder and choose Delete.
4. Empty your Recycle Bin.
Acrobat should now launch.
Update to 6.0.1 to prevent this issue from re-occurring.
