I am having a heck of a time getting a PDF created the way I want from a large word file. I have table of contents set up in word (using hidden text markers, with custom labels). If I use the TOC styles to generate bookmarks, I get a whole lot of bookmarks referring to the table of contents itself. And, of course, the PDFMaker doesn't seem fit to use the table of contents to make the bookmarks! The work was already done, basically.

I figured a work around would be to create text styles for my hidden custom table of content titles. Of course, PDFMaker won't let you select the custom styles from the style lists on the bookmark tab. HELP! If I mess with Formatting (e.g. headings), its going to really foul up my document, and will take the incorrect information for the bookmarks, forcing me to edit them like crazy. Its 150 pages worth.

Plan "D" was to look at the PDFMaker macro itself, but its password protected, of course....

Any suggestions?
