Action to remove lzw in PS 7.0.1 doesn't work

I previously used an action in PS6 to remove lzw compression. Created an action in PS7 to set compression to NONE. The action works for zip and jpeg compressed tiffs but won't set a lzw compressed image to none. I have tried saving and overwritting existing as well as to a different folder, but can't seem to get it to work. I have tried it both on PS6 and PS7 saved images. Anybody have any answers?

Thanks Tony for your reply. My action, that "doesnt work", already contains set to NONE.
My entire process for creating the action is as follows. I start with an image that has LZW.
File open. File save as. Overwrite yes. Click on NONE. Save.
This same action does work on images with zip and jpeg compression, but not images with LZW. This has only been a problem since going to PS7 where multiple compression types are available. I am not new to actions. Running on PC with NT4. Any other suggestions?

Well, hell's bells. You are absolutely correct. It will record compression, but it will not record compression set to NONE for LZW.

I say it's a bug. It's not the way it's supposed to work.

We'll give it a couple of days and see if anyone can provide a solution. If not, then I will (or you can) post a separate topic with the word Bug? in it and lets see if there's an answer.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think so.
