Active X Control "click to active"
I created a menu with buttons created with flash for a webpage. When the page
loads and I scroll over my buttons that are supposed to change on the rollover,
an active x help text message appears that says "Click to activate and use this
control". When I click anywhere on the flash object all of my menu buttons work
properly.
This is very unprofessional in appearance because every time I navigate to a
new page I have to go through this process again to have my menu buttons
activate the rollover animation! Is there something I can do to make it so the
flash will load without having to click to activate this control?:frown;

Re: Active X Control "click to active"
The professional thing to do would have been to search for the hundreds of
posts here and thousands of web articles about this.
This is due to Microsoft IE changes required to avoid infringing the
(stupid) EOLAS patent. It applies to all activex control that can interact
with the user.
If you are viewing a web site, you cannot really do anything to fix it,
except complain to the web master
Here is a link to find information on how to fix your website to cope with
the activeX active content changes:

(If that does not redirect, just go to http://activecontent.blogspot.com )
