add 2 fields - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

I have a sales table.     Ex:
    select sum(field1) + sum(field2) from table2

    Columns are not fields; learn the difference or you'll never be any good
    at SQL,

    Please post DDL, so that people do not have to guess what the keys,
    constraints, Declarative Referential Integrity, datatypes, etc. in your
    schema are.
