add <div>

I'm learning Contribute. I am the Administrator and created templates within DW
8. Everything is formated via CSS. I need to allow the user to add a <div> and
style that <div> as opposed to just styling a paragraph. Then, a paragraph,
header, list, table, can be put inside that optional <div>. Any idea on this or
am I out of luck?

I want to clarify that I want to add a <div> in Contribute 3. But I can't
figure out how to add one. It seems that under format/style, the style just are
applied to a paragraph or a header. Instead of adding a paragraph I need to add
a <div> and style that.

Create a library item in DW8 with just

<div>this is within the div</div>

When library items are added to shared assets in Contribute they no longer act
like library items, they act more like snippets. So users can go to insert>
shared asset>div tag.lbi and it will show "this is within the div", you can
then highlight the text, apply a css style to it and then change the text or
content within the div to whatever you want... i know it's a big work around,
but it's the only way i've found.
