Added login items: Adobe resource sync.: what is this?

    Default Added login items: Adobe resource sync.: what is this?

    Since installing Acrobat 8 Pro, there is an item added to my log in items (run at startup) called something like:
    AdobeResourceSynchronisation

    What is this? do I need this? can I remove this from log in tems?

    It's needed to keep track of Shared Reviews. If you're not going to be initiating any shared reviews, you can probably remove it from log in items, but it may come back if you repair Acrobat at any time.
