Re: Adding a drop down window to a bannar ad.
If you are doing this on a page that you control, you'd use wmode =
transparent. See this article:

If you are creating a banner that will be hosted on another site, you will
need to use a third party rich media vendor to create the ad. This is because
their methods have been approved and trusted by a lot of major sites and their
files will rarely, if ever, be rejected. I have been told many sites will not
even accept expandable ads unless provided via them.
Here are some links to check out although there are several more providers:
http://www.pointroll.com
http://www.eyewonder.com
http://www.dartmotif.com
You can download templates and/or information on how to use their components
to achieve your goal.

Re: Adding a drop down window to a bannar ad.
Thanks for the info. I think I like what Dart Motif can offer and it is a
pretty easy Flash plugin. However, every time I go through the tutorials they
never seem to work. I am sort of new at this but I wish there were more
tutorials on Dart Motif (Double Click) on how to use their product. I guess I
can only keep trying.
Thanks again.

Re: Adding a drop down window to a bannar ad.
I actually had trouble with Dart Motif myself and it took forever for one of
their support team to get back to me. I hope it was all coincidence and bad
luck at that time.
I have used Pointroll and Atlas. They also have plugins but you have to
register like you do with DM. Keep in mind that it's really up to the people
who buy the media spots on which platform you are to use. If your client is
tracking the tags with Atlas, then it's best to use theirs for the construction
of the ad.
Also, if you contact them and request support, they'll be more than happy to
assist.
