Theoretically yes. I have an old Apple ColorSync 17" monitor attached to
the DVI port of my Power Mac G4 using a DVI-VGA adapter and a VGA-Mac
monitor adapter in series, and it works fine.

However, I once tried to attache my old Apple Hi-Res Display (13"
visible, 14" by industry standards) and the card didn't support the
640x480 67 Hz resolution that the monitor required, so it didn't work.

    Dual 867 G4 here. 19" KDS works with DVI-VGA Adapter. I've got 17"
Mac flat panel in the main slot. Can't imagine ever going back to just
one monitor. However my 17" Scepter did not work as well when I tried
that first. Never could get the colors right.

I don't think this will work, as the newer Macs require multisync
    monitors.
It will work with a more recent monitor and the appropriate adapters.

    Cheers
