Default Adding a Search Function to Dreamweaver Pages

I am a beginner, but I have a deadline, so I need to jump ahead to some
advanced features. I would appreciate references to tutorial pages, etc., or
any direct help y'all might be able to give me. I need to be able to add a
search function to some of my Dreamweaver web pages. Thanks!

When it comes to search, it is always good to know specifically what you want to search, if you want to search the text of the pages within your site is one thing and searching dynamic content within a database is something else. If you provide more detail, perhaps others can suggest some specific extensions for you, but here's a couple:

WebAssist has a free extension for adding Google search to your site, this will allow for searching text that appears on your page:

We also have a database searching extension that is part of DataAssist (commercial):

Make sure to check out the Feature Tours for each product to see what the extensions cover, and the Solution Recipe for DataAssist. You can find the links for these in the "Buy Now" pods on the right hand side of the page. Also, you may want to ask about these extensions in our forums:
