Adding a Table of Contents - Adobe Acrobat Windows

I have been using a third part plug-in to build a Table of Contents page from the bookmarks that I have created. Is there a way to do this in any version without the plug-in?...

A TOC should really be created in the application that you originally created the rest of your doent so that it is carried over into the PDF - Adobe Indesign is a good example of a suitable application.

Yes, and it's real easy. On the AA5 CD you will find a batch sequence "List all bookmarks". This JS will create a TOC from bookmarks.

What about a ToC that you can navigate from and that lists the page numbers each bookmark corresponds to? I want to click on one of my bookmarks in the ToC and it will direct me to that page.

This can be done in AAv6x. The "List all bookmarks" sequence have to be changed as followed. Execute the bookmark to get the pagenumber and write it to the ToC as hyperlinks. That's new in AAv6 Javascript. So have a look at the helpfile and change the sequence to it.
