Adding pages?
Hi all!
I?m a web developer who?s new to Contribute. I wonder if the administrator can add pages/menu items in C3 or if he/she could just edit existing pages?

Re: Adding pages?
I have the same question.
It sounds very useless that I can't add a menu-item to the menu and make the
menu-item visible on all pages with the menu. Without this functionality we
definatelly can't use the program.
For example:
I have a website with in the menu Home, Who are we & Portfolio. All the pages
have the same lay-out and are using the same template. Now the site is up and
running, but I want to add a contact page to the menu. So I want to create a
page and add a link to the menu add all pages at the same time. Is this posible?

Re: Adding pages?
Are these Templates in the meaning of Dreamweaver templates?> and are using the same template
Then the workflow would be to use Dreamweaver to edit the template.dwt file,
then update all the site pages, and check the site files back in for use by
the Contribute users.

Re: Adding pages?
Wow! What a solution!
(ok just sarcasm, It's just idiot that a non-technical webeditor can't add pages to the menu)

Re: Adding pages?
It's the design of the system, to use dw templates to PREVENT non-technical
people using Contribute from editing anything in a locked area of a dw
templated page. They can only edit what's in an Editable Area.
Bring it up with the person who is admin'ing the site or designing the
template.

Re: Adding pages?
can you make the menu editable? ie. the nav menu library item can be edited by contribute user - then all pages reflect the new nav?
would it just be a case on how you set you editable regions?
