I have a client who would like to add streaming audio to their website, The
site is set up in a way that they can edit the pages using Contribute 3. They
have managed to do this so far and now want to expand. The problem I now have
is that I cannot find anywhere within Contribute to allow them to attach an
MP3, or any facility to convert it to a streaming format. The client does not
have the skills to use Flash so asking them to produce the SWF manually is not
an option (that's even before I tell them the cost of it).

I have looked at lots of third party MP3 to SWF converters that are available,
but they all seem to have issues with what I am trying to do. Some of these
programs produce three files audio.swf, controls.swf and stream.htm. The main
issue with this is it cannot be added to a page using Contribute (unless I have
misread something) but require ftp access, which they don't have.

What I am looking for is a converter that will produce a single swf file from
an MP3. This file must include the audio controls and it must be able to be
added to a page using Contribute. The closest I came to such a converter was
one of the $30 shareware files, but it wouldn't convert the MP3 (program issue
rather than user).

The client wants to be able to do this themselves as they would like to
publish the audio (interview) within an hour or so of recording it.

Any clues as to a solution?
