adjusting thumbnails

Is there a way to better control thumbnail printing options? there are a couple things i want to do...

---when printing 2 spreads on a 13x19 sheet of paper they print one on top of the other, can i get them to print left to right? changing the orientation of the paper does not change this, the 2 spreads still print one above the other, just squished into the middle of the page.

---cosmetic adjustments.
-can i make the page outline thinner?
-with the drop shadow is it possible to get rid of it or atleast thin it out? its obnoxiously thick.
-and last, is it possible to turn off the page numbers? sometimes i do initial page layouts out of order, but when i print thumbnails they are numbered making it confusing to read.
