Administrative Rights for Updates - Refused
I am logged on as the administrator of my new laptop with
OS XP Pro. I attempted to update my computer
through 'Help and Support'. Was instructed to open 'All
Programs' and right click on 'Window Update', left click
on 'Run As' and select which user to run this program. I
did this for all three individuals who have
administrative rights. Each time I receive the same
message to open All Programs and right click on Windows
Update. It refuses to allow me to update this computer. I
tried the same 'Run As' and told it to use the current
user to the same results. How can get the critical
updates that I was told via email that needed to be
installed????
