Here is a stupid question... can I use ADO with VB3???

I need to convert a VB3 application that uses DAO and
talks to an Access 2 database, into a VB3 application that
uses ADO and talks to an SQL database...

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

Well, I would suspect you could write a quick hello world app in a few
minutes to test connection and data retrieval...

    Hi,

Sorry but VB3 generates16 bit applications and ADO is a 32 bit.
The second and even bigger problem is that vb3 does not support COM.
ADO is definitly relaying on COM technology..
    So, the answer is no.

    Sorry for the dissappointment.

    Ok, my next question is...

Can I get the VB3 application to talk to an SQL Server database in any
    other way than using ADO???

    Thanks,
    Dan L.
