I am having this same problem on Windows 2000 using the Brother MFC-8500. I've worked around this using Nathan's suggestion above of using PaperPort and the Adobe PDF printer. But, it's somewhat less
than satisfying. ;-)
Is this a problem with Acrobat or with the Brother MFC devices?
My guess is that it is the Brother TWAIN driver, since they use non-TWAIN drivers on XP, which apparently doesn't have this problem.
