Do you have Document and stamps selected in the document and forms drop down in the first page of the print dialog?
Cheers,

Re: Adobe Acrobat Professional: how to(non-electonically) sign a document
Thanks Daniel.
That seems to work for printing the document, but I still can't figure out how to email the document with the stamp shown. When I get a PDF by email that I must sign I would like to add the signature stamp and then email it back without having to print out, physically sign, fax or scan it back and then discard the paper. This seems like a waste of time and paper.

Re: Adobe Acrobat Professional: how to(non-electonically) sign a document
Are you trying to read the document in Reader when it's emailed? The stamps will only appear in the document in Adobe Reader when commenting is enabled in the document. At least as I understand it.

Re: Adobe Acrobat Professional: how to(non-electonically) sign a document
I just noticed you're on Acrobat 6.0.2 so as far as enabling the document for commenting in Reader that's not an option unless you're in 7 or 8. So if you're trying to view the stamp in Reader you'll have to upgrade.

Ah, thank you. I am planning to upgrade, but am waiting for the universal binary version of Creative Suite scheduled to come out after the first of the year. ( I need it for the new Intel Mac I am getting) Thank you again for taking the time to help me.

Make that the second quarter. Possibly the end of the second quarter
aka midyear,

Well, if that is it, then maybe the desk top units will be offered with even greater speed and blueray!
