I'm using Firefox 2.0 and Mac OS X 10.4. I have tried everything in
sight and the darned Acrobat Player STILL won't display anything but the
first page of a PDF file via Quicktime. I downloaded PDF Browser 2.2.3
and tried to put it in the Internet Plug-Ins folder, but all it does is
create an alias and thus, leaves it unrecognized by the browser proper.
I went into Quicktime's Preferences as directed:

"With the QuickTime plug-in you are only able to see the first page of
a PDF document. If you encounter this problem, open System Preferences,
go to the QuickTime preferences pane, click in "MIME settings…" in the
Plug-In pane, and make sure that under "Images - Still image files" "PDF
Image" is turned off.

The problem is, the $#@! things HAS no "PDF Image" entry to CLICK! WTF?

I have wrestled with this simple, ROTTEN issue for 3 weeks and still
nothing. What the heck am I missing that I get only the first page and
why THAT of its so messed up? Why can I not get the simple Reader aspect
to open and let me scroll through the file? I'm stumped. Thanks!
