You don't use contribute to design web sites.

You can use it to manage content in a web site.

To design a web site you'll need dreamweaver

I wouldn't buy it again, or recommend it to any of my clients. It is a major pain and Adobe support is impossible to reach, even after I paid for it.::frown;

I have been administering websites with Contribute since version 2. And all my
company's clients now are using the program.

It is important that you learn the program well... and that you train your
clients well. We create a customized training manual for our clients and give
them an hour of personalized training.

As a web developer, I write in web standards and use CSS. This is important to
me and to my company. Contribute is a perfect fit for us! I highly recommend it.

Thanks for your response. Your work sounds exactly what I'm looking to do, if
I'm understanding you correctly.

I'm doing a website for a funeral home client. They're looking for a basic
site but wish to include an obituary page and a condolensces page. The
secretary will need to be able to cut & paste the obits into a template and
publish the changes herself.

Can I design the site as I normally would in Dreamweaver. Do I need to do any
design work specific to Contribute? Can the stie be published from their
location and then can the secretary use Contribute for her regular obit
updates?
