I used to work PhotoDeluxe, but since it's really no longer a current Adobe program (limited to MAC version 2 and BE version somewhat) and none of them work very well in XP I no longer work there. But Deluxe has layers similar to Elements, so have you worked the bottom layer (or made one) to give you the background you desire?
