Adobe Gamma - No visual response from adjustment
On my previos budget video card;
s3 64-bit Virge DX/DX2 4MB
I tried adjsutting the gamma on adobe gamma and the slider's made no visual difference. I tried all the drivers avialable, and disabled acceleration.
It just did not work.
Now on a newer card;
Voodoo 3 3000 16MB
It works. But I noticed that the voodoo 3's display control software also has this gamma adjustmnet feature....
Others have had the adobe gamma problem too and questioned it.....
so I dedude; Is this problem due to the video card not supporting an adjustment feature ?...so far I have found it to be, but then again, I have had 2 cards....maybe others have had more to experience with ?......commments ?...
