Adobe Illustrator Startup_CMYK - How to change the default font

I'm using Illustrator CS on Windows XP and want to change the default settings in the area of FONT and SIZE. So I can see Arial 14 pt every time I open a new document.

I have tried to change the
C:\Programmer\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS\Plug-ins\Adobe Illustrator Startup_CMYK.ai
but nothing happens. So have to do, and where ??

I have tried to change the default settings for
C:\Programmer\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS\Presets\Swatches\default_CMYK.ai and that was no problem, the colors changed perfectly.... but that did not solve my above mentioned problem... only another one

Please help... - ADOBE Denmark could not...

I have Illustrator 10.
If you Open Illustrator 10 and check preferences.Then commence new document and select font. Then close without saving. Close Illustrator and open program again. That seems to work with Illustrator 10. Maybe you could try it with CS?
