Adobe Photoshop 6 cannot start in windows 2000

Hi Adobe engineer,
My adobe photoshop6 cannot start in windows2000. It used to be able to start.
An error log has been created. However it is quite long. Can I sent it as an email attachment to you?

Soo: The Adobe engineers rarely make any appearance (Chris Cox), but the first question they will ask is what have you changed about your system recently?

Have you reset the preferences as per the FAQ at the top of the first page. Have you tried other suggestions in the FAQ?There is a lot you can do without input from a software engineer.

Thanks for replying.

I read thru the FAQs. My photoshop gives an error message before it starts loading anythng. Once I click ok, the program exits.

The 1st part of the log reads:

"Application exception occurred:
App: (pid=1400)
When: 9/4/2003 @ 21:09:28.609
Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)"

The rest of the log talks abt stacks, dumps n functions and there's a lot of numbers on them.

I tried starting photoshop 10 mins ago, and its working fine again.

I guess its an on n off problem.

Recently, the only major changes is that I installl windows2000 latest patch. I can't think of other reasons that cause the problem.
