Adobe Pro 6 & Win 2K Term Server
OK, we had Adobe Pro installed and working fine for days...all of a sudden, we had a problem that prompted me to reinstall Reader on top of Pro. Since then, we cannot create PDFs using any of Adobe's processes. We get a printing error when we try.
Have done an uninstall, registry clean, reinstall and we're only getting one printer...no distiller, or any other Adobe printers, and we still can't create PDFs.
We were getting the VB Compile error but I fixed that. What I'm concerned with is the fact that we can't print to a PDF from anything. I'm totally striking out on finding a fix for this. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Cliff

If the one printer that does install is called Adobe PDF, what happens when you use that?

Re: Adobe Pro 6 & Win 2K Term Server
I get an error dialogue box titled Printers Folder and an error that reads that there was an error printing to that printer, do I want to retry or cancel.

Re: Adobe Pro 6 & Win 2K Term Server
You will need to do the following:
* Log in at the server console
* Clear out the print queue for the Adobe PDF printer;
* Restart the Print Spooler service
* LOCK THE WORKSTATION, do not log out.
Your remote users will then be able to print to the Adobe PDF printer. If you do not keep an admin login session running on the server, the issue will return.

I will try it. However, all of the users have full admin rights on the TS box when they log in.
