Adobe Pro 7.02 inserts multiple pages but UNSORTED!
Hi,
Adobe Pro 7.02 on Mac OS X 10.3.9 inserts multiple pages but UNSORTED!
I have a multipage PDF file saved as single pages. I want to create a single PDF file with them.
When I open the first one, choose "Document/Insert Pages" and select pages 32 to 43 in a row (all of them), they are inserted but unsorted. Eg: 31+34+35+32+...
What is going on? Why does not insert them just in order 1 to n.
The single-page files are named as:
31.pdf
32.pdf
33.pdf
34.pdf
35.pdf
36.pdf
37.pdf
38.pdf
39.pdf
40.pdf
41.pdf
42.pdf
43.pdf
And I just want Adobe Acrobat create a single document with all such pages head to tail sorted from 31 to 43.
Any help most appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Adobe Pro 7.02 inserts multiple pages but UNSORTED!
This behavior is actually caused by the OS. A good place to attempt to do this is in the Create PDF > From Multiple Files... dialog. Depending on where you are inserting these new pages, you may have to split up the original document, (the one you're inserting in to). If you're just adding these pages onto the end or the beginning, then you can simply bring them in the Create PDF From Multiple Files... dialog and put them in order there. Check it out. I'm sure you'll find a way to solve the problem.

Re: Adobe Pro 7.02 inserts multiple pages but UNSORTED!
Brilliant!
Works just fine and as expected selecting "File/Create PDF/From Multiple Files".
You made my day!
Thanks!
