ADOBE READER 7 DOES NOT DEFAULT
HAVE UPDATED TO ADOBE READER 7.0.1, BUT MY SYSTEM STILL DEFAULTS TO ACROBAT READER 5 WHEN OPENING PDF FILES. WHEN I TRASH 5, THE COMPUTER ASKS FOR IT RATHER THAN USES ADOBE READER. I ASSUMED THAT MY SOFTWARE UPDATE INSTALL WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE SWITCH-OVER BUT NO. I CAN FIND NO HELP FROM HELP. THE UPDATE WORKS FINE IF I LAUNCH IT.
HOW CAN I SET UP THE UPDATE AS THE DEFAULT?

Re: ADOBE READER 7 DOES NOT DEFAULT
Highlight a PDF. Go to File>Get Info>Open with. Choose Reader 7 then click "Change All". You may have to do this with a few different PDF's over time depending on how they were created.
