Advice
Hello All,
I am looking for advice on the purchase of a digital camera. I will be
using it primarily for personal photos, and to e-mail shots back to the
States from the island I live on in the Carrib.
I am on a limited budget, and don't really know much about cameras. I have
some little experiance using a Nikon CoolPix 900, and liked it, but back
then it was out of my budget.
I would like the best that I can get in $300.00 range...
Thanks so much for any advice you can give me. It is hard for me to get
about as I have a MTBI that keeps me down a lot.

Re: Advice
Everything I have read says that the Canon A70 is a great 3.2 megapixel
camera and the price is in the $300 range.

Re: Advice
Hi Tony: I used the Fuji line and these were affordable. Amazon.com has many
to select from. On some of those Caribe Islands, photo products are duty free
as well.Take care.Anthony

Advice
Anyone (administrators) have tips to share based on experience with setting up
users? Any thing to beware of, any thing that makes life easier, etc?
It's a simple website. I want non-web people to be able to edit and add pages
is pretty much it (see http://www.omaniheritage.org/projects.html), add index
pages for the lines that aren't links now, and add sub-pages and images to
that. I'm wondering if I need DW templates, or will copy current page along
with style sheet (ext css file) work as well? And am I missing something else
altogether?
Thx, Jeff

Advice
I need to scan about 16 pages of forms, and convert them to PDF files. I am on a Mac G4, with an Epson 3200 Perfection scanner, and PhotoShop 7. I plan on scanning these forms with PhotoShop and saving them as PDF files and then filling them out with Acrobat 6 Professional. Is scanning these as B&W images, or Grayscale the best way to go? I have noticed in experimenting with the grayscale images, there is a gray tint where normal page is. I am also getting a bleed from what is on the opposite side of the page. Any ideas?.

Re: Advice
Christo,
I generally scan as greyscale, fix the file as needed and then change
to B&W in Photoshop. I find play with the image in Photoshop to get the
best conversion to B&W.
