I've had the same problem has Tom, but it reappears every time I restart my computer. I trash the prefs, start Illustrator, everything is fine. BUT, the next day when I start-up, Illustrator crashes. So I repeat... trash prefs, Illustrator starts, etc.
Does anyone know what's going on here? Must have something to do with fonts, but I can't figure it out and it's starting to bug me. I have to redo all my prefs and pallets every day.
