Air extension could not create app descriptor file

CS3, v9, 3481-- Current CS 3 Air Extension and Adobe Air

This was working at one point. When I installed the CS4 beta, it stopped, so
I uninstalled CS4, uninstalled CS3, the extension and Air, reinstalled all, now
get this when trying to "Create Air File":

"Could not create the application descriptor file." "Please close any other
Adobe Air application that was started with Preview in Adobe Air Command."

Any ideas? TIA

I have exactly the same problem. Tried it on two seperate machines

CS3, build 3491 Windows version

I am having the exact same problem now as well, and it began once I installed
Dreamweaver CS4 to test out new features, I have removed Dreamweaver CS4 now
but the AIR functions are broken. Any Ideas?
