Airbrush
Okay, this is annoying. In Photoshop 6 I could choose one color and set the opacity to 5% or so, then do several passes with the airbrush until I got the desired intensity. Well, I'm probably stupid, because I cannot do the same with 7. What am I missing?
I'm beginning to regret having spent the money on this upgrade -- can't figure out why Adobe just could not let alone something that worked just fine. I hope the old way returns in future versions, or I will not buy any more upgrades. :P

Oooooh, I bet Adobe is up in arms over that one! Wow, your $149 upgrade covers almost 2 days wages of someone at Adobe...they better start packing now if they can't count on you.
Just because you can't make the software work is not Adobe's problem. Have you tried looking at the Opacity box in the toolbar at the top of your screen and adjusting that??? Possibly trying F1 for online help with the keywords of opacity or transparency settings??? Maybe try the keyboard opacity settings, #'s 1-9???

Re: Airbrush
No worries Heriberto. Happens to everyone now and then. Sometimes the forum members (moi?) have a little fun at a posters expense.
This is a friendly forum and most of us love photoshop. Sometimes the natives get protective when someone calls their child ugly. <grin>
Oh, and fwiw, one of the big new features in v7 is the new brush engine, so I guess some folks might think "Get a clue" <shrug>
Peace,
Tony
