I am not sure I can change it in 3.2.5 as there is no line with DENSITY SETTING
    on it.......

.........but will give it a try.

If you have an IBM drive and it is recognized as "4mm2g" or "4mm4g"
these params are set by the device driver.

Settings only apply to the generic "Other SCSI Tape" driver "ost".

Don't know the exact parameter by heart.
Take a look with "lsattr -E -l rmt0". This should list all parameters
with their actual values. A tape drive has usually a high and low
density setting. A value of 0 means auto detect.

I remember that HP DDS drives needs special dip switch settings for RS/6000.

I just copied the settings of the same sized IBM drives
to get my Wangtek and Tandberg QIC drives configured as "ost".
