AIX 5.2 ML01 & Oracle 8.1.7.4
Anyone using Oracle 8.1.7.4 on AIX 5.2? If so, are you experiencing
any issues with full table scans. We have multiple systems with
Oracle 8.1.7 & AIX 5.2, and the db_multi_block_read_count
configuration parameter does not seem to take. Oracle will only do
I/O with the db_block_size, even during full table scans.
We do not see this problem on our AIX 5.1 systems with Oracle 8.1.7...
