    Default Align Text Vertically

I'm learning on v IN 1 tryout. I fear most of you larned on a CS
version but anyway heres my question.

I do NOT see a vertical alignment option in the text frame options box,
in this version. And I HAVE looked. Any suggestions, other than
baseline shifting and the like, till it's centered?

Hi Kathie, I'm only familiar with version 2 up, but I know the
vertical justification is greyed out if text wrap is effecting the text
frame. This is the only reason I know of that the vertical
justification wouldn't be available in the text frame options.

    hope this helps.

    Hi Mhari ,
Thanks. The thing it's not that the vertical justification is greyed
out, it's that it's not there at all EVER, at least not in the text
frame options box. And there's no pop out at the side of paragraph,
character, et al, palette either at ANY time. So I'm confused.

    Smile Re: Align Text Vertically

Click the object in question, then select Object -> Text Frame Options (from the top menu bar). You can then select the Vertical Justification.
