Aligning objects on separate spreads (Newbie)
Page 2 has a large frame, page 4 has two (or three) smaller ones. I'd like the TOP of the upper frame of page 4 to be in the exact position as the top of t page 2's frame, and the bottom of the lower frame on page 4 to be in the exact position of the BOTTOM of page 2's frame. How do I do this quickly?
Another newbie question:
How can I save and apply attributes from one frame to another the way I'd apply character style sheets?

Re: Aligning objects on separate spreads (Newbie)
One approach would be to place ruler guides on your master pages to align frames to.
Another approach would be to use the Transform palette (ID2 or IDCS) or the Control Palette (IDCS) to set the Y (vertical) values for the frames. Click the corner of the proxy icon (the small icon at the left side of the palette) to indicate the corner of the frame you're using for reference. X or Y values can be copied and pasted in the palette fields so you don't have to write down numbers.
Regarding your second question, there is no ability to copy "object styles" in the current versions of InDesign. That would make a great feature request.

Re: Aligning objects on separate spreads (Newbie)
Guy,
As I understood it, "emencz" wanted to be able copy frame attributes--not paragraph styles or character styles. You can copy character and paragraph styles, transparency, and stroke/fill attributes with the Eyedropper tool, but not frame attributes.
You could use a library, but that wouldn't work well if you had frames of differing sizes.
