all photos opened are green and purple

i'm using photoshop 6 with MAC OS 9. never seen this in over 15 years but each photo that i now open shows up in purple and green. any answers out there for me. i've restarted, rebuilt the desktop, zapped the PRAM. any other suggestions?

No, seriously; your monitor profile is hosed. This is in the FAQs, by the way. You need to recalibrate the monitor starting with a fresh, canned profile, not your current bad one, save the resulting profile and set that as your new monitor profile.

problem solved! i figured it was something simple. no more zucchinis and eggplants for me!
