Allowing opening pdf for a period of time
Is there a way to create a pdf so that when provided to users, there is a time limit on opening it???
In other words, I have material that is updated quite frequently. Don't want a user to keep a pdf for a year!!!! only for maybe 1 month

No, but you can use a digital rights management (DRM) solution like Adobe LiveCycle Policy Server to control document usage.
