    Default Altering Page Dimensions

    Program: INdesign CS Premium

Project: 12 Page CD Booklet (Concertina Fold) (2X spreads of 6 pages each, print as pairs)

PROBLEM: My printer specifies that in a 6 page spread I need to create dimensions for the 1st page (CD BACK PAGE) as w;199mm X h;199mm, the 2nd through to 5th page as w;120mm X h;199mm, then the 6th page (CD FRONT PAGE) as w;121mm X h;199mm.

Now I understand the reason he needs it done this way is so that it will fold correctly, but how on earth am I able to do this when I only seem to be able to alter the entire document's page settings and not 1 individual page?

Basically, Is it possible to isolate and alter the page dimensions of 1 page in a multiple page document?

Your printer is not right in the head. You don't need to do the spread creep. That is something the stripper or output person does. And at 1 mm differences, if you ignored it altogether, it would never be noticed. It could be adjusted even in the folder machine.

One way that you can do it is to set it up as two pages and indicate the folds. Lee Pierce
