using meta data refreshes is evil. using xmlhttp is benign. You could try sending XML-based requests through xmlHttp, that would work in IE... -

In preferences I´ve checked "extra plug-ins folder" for PS7 plug-ins folder

You're getting errors because you are trying to use 2 plugins intended for an older version of Photoshop.
Get rid of them, and reinstall the AltiVecCore than came with CS.
