hi. this preloader effect is simple to achieve..

the logo wizzes in by first motion tweening a blur image. try pressing print
screen before the logo appears and you will see an image of a blurry thing.
the blurry image then disappears and the logo zips in afterwards. here i
made a rough copy - it needs a little tweaking:
http://www.fidgetbrain.com/test/testlogo.htm
you can download the .fla here: http://www.fidgetbrain.com/test/test.fla

the rest of the stuff is done by movie clips. try experimenting and you'll
get there in the end. hope that helps...

yes. it is a combination of shape tween, motion tween, size tween and frame

I'm surprised I didn't see any of you mention the masking. I see motion tweening for the text (graphics) moving across, shape tweening for the 'gum' effect, and masking...where the masks are motion tweened across the screen. However (I'm not saying I know how to do it...today), I believe the gum effect could be better achieved through actionscripting the _yscale and _xscale properties...some kind of logarithm for getting that 'bouncy' effect. The "dangling bubbles" that are bouncing are probably symbols in and of themselves, and the "strings" from which they hang are symbols that are simply lengthened as the "bubbles" move downward.

Now, if anyone would care to share that logarithm....

this kind of animation is best achieved (actionscript logarithms or
otherwise) by trial and error. as with most things in Flash.
