I'm using CFINVOKE to consume Amazon's new webservice (ECS 4.0) to pull data from Amazon to my database based on ASIN/ISBN. I've attached the code.

    As i said, i'm pretty much CLUELESS so don't ridicule me for missing something
    totally obvious.

    Any help you can give me would be great!

    asinNumber = "0140065350";

    searchRequest = structNew();
    structInsert( searchRequest, "IdType","ASIN" );
    structInsert( searchRequest, "ItemId","#asinNumber#" );
    </cfscript>

    I consider myself less than clueless and I can't get this to work either.

    Good news, though. Last night I was getting the same error you were (16
    semantic errors). This morning I'm getting 36.

    This is my code, it is as simple as possible:

    <cfscript>
    AWS =
    createObject("Webservice","http://webservices.amazon.com/AWSECommerceService/AWS
    ECommerceService. wsdl"); </cfscript>
    <cfdump var="#AWS#">

    Did you ever come up w/ a solution?
