og Optical Mono Crackling on Audio on B&W Film Tape - Photography

I would like to make a "crackler" out of a og optical audio mono negative film tape. This tape is similar to the optical og audio tracks on films except there is no video and the film is negative on playback. The crackling can be visual observed as black spots on the film. When light can enter, there is no sound. When a black spot is hit a "pop" is heard. The crackling should sound similar to that of burning coal. I would like to make a "crackler" out of a og optical audio mono
negative film tape. This tape is similar to the optical og audio
tracks on films except there is no video and the film is negative on
    playback.

The crackling can be visual observed as black spots on the film. When
light can enter, there is no sound. When a black spot is hit a "pop"
is heard. The crackling should sound similar to that of burning coal.
The sound should be loud enough to be perceived moderately yet not so
loud as to disturb a listener or clip into square wave.

I would like to play this crackling along with SB16-FM synth pad
MIDIs, Blink 182 songs, BSB songs, Phil Collins songs, and Bosson
    songs.

Seems like doing it the hard way. What you're describing is easily
accomplished with an audio program such as Sound Forge.
Is there some reason why you want to do this with an opto-mechanical device?

He's either a troll or a character that has too much time on his
hands. He spends his days bugging newsgroups with ridiculous
questions. If you really care, do a deja.com search on him.

Thanks. I won't encourage him. He sounds like the wierdo who used to post
ridiculous crap all over the Film-Tech forum, asking questions like "why
can't you build an AW3 platter out of old pizza boxes?". At first it was
amusing, then I found him to be truly annoying. His user name is now on my
    "do not answer" list.
