Analysis of color quantities?
I was wondering if anyone knows a method of analyzing the quantities of particular colors in an image. For instance, if there is a specific color in an image, how would I calculate the number of pixels with that color (or nearly that color) or the percentage of the image with that color?
I have heard that Photoshop is used in medical practice in this way to analyze x-rays and cat scans.
Any techniques or plugins known?
thanks
