ysis of core dump file - Sun Solaris

I have installed a new version of gnuplot on a Sun 10 (Solaris 2.6) machine. Every time I use a special function I got a core dump and loosing the plot on the screen. The developer of gnuplot ask me to yse the core dump file to find out where in the program it crashes. Are there any simple Unix tools to yse the core dump file? Karl...

    Default ysis of core dump file

    GDB is a really bad advise if the binary that cvaused the core has not
    been compiled with -g. GDB is not a debugger that helps much if you are looking
    for real problems. It is much better to call 'adb' or 'mdb' because they
    give you more informations in such a case...

    call adb <programname>
    followed by a '$c'
