Re: Anark in Director
i just tried to make it run but i get an error. first i thought it is the
pathname, because in the beginsprite handler is a wrong name placed:
on beginSprite me
sprite(me.spriteNum).load(the pathname & "map.am")
end
i changed it to:
on beginSprite me
sprite(me.spriteNum).load(the pathname & "map.amw")
end
but i still says "Failed to load presentation file"
the online help says something about grafic card problems. do you know how to
make it run?

Re: Anark in Director
Hondo !
The Director lingo script provided in the sample file is OK.
Your problem is you did not notice, the "map.amw" file is Anark SOURCE
project file and it's necessary to compile it with Anark Studio in a
purpose to get resulting "map.am" file.
Please - I made it for you - you can download compiled "map.am" file here:
ftp://pm-studio.pl/director/anark/map.am
Hope this helps,

Re: Anark in Director
Hi!
I have just started with Anark, so I have no prectical experience but my
initial impression on anark is very positive. Anark Corporation seems to
be focused on Anark Studio and the application is intensively developed.
Its recent 3.5 version was massively debugged and is working like a
charm. Its ECMA_Script compatible programming language and object model
is pretty powerful and new options are added (i.g. dynamic 3D text is
scheduled). Anark format fully supports Unicode! Performance is great.
In case one day someone will develop Anark Client xtra - we are at home!
I encurage you to download a demo of Anark Studio 3.5 form Anark
website: www.anark.com. It comes with nice help and tutorials. While
getting familiar with its interface and metaphore - you may start doing
complex, interactive applications in days not months!
Sincerely,
Ziggi

Re: Anark in Director
Hondo!
It seems thay have changed the rules and now they ask to submit a
contact form... Please, contact me privately:
z.szczesny@[NO-SPAM]pm-studio.pl in case you have problems to get your
evaluation copy from Anark but I believe they will offer it to you as
soon as you contact them.
